About the Event
The British School of Upholstered Furniture are happy to announce the release of a 6 day course run by the amazing Bruno Paulin- Lopez from France (residing in America), teaching the process of upholstering a medallion backed chair in the style of Louis XVI.
Bruno is returning to the school following a highly successful course which we ran here in Autumn last year, upholstering a deep buttoned footstool in the continental manner. We'd like to reiterate that it is quite the coup for us to have Bruno come and teach as he is widely regarded as one of the best practicing upholsterers worldwide. In fact having Bruno teach at all is a rare occurrence that very very few people stateside have had the opportunity to learn from such a master of the trade.
Further details on Bruno's expertise and history can be found here
The class runs daily on the dates stated from 9.30am to 4.30pm with an hour for lunch.
The chair frame and all materials will be included in the course. Students will be asked to bring their own choice of top fabric and trim.
Course refunds available 30 days before class starts, however, cancellations after this period will only be refunded if we can offer the ticket to an applicant on the wait list.
